Proflight Zambia has now taken delivery of a third Jetstream 41 aircraft, boosting its fleet to now 13 aircraft.
The planes were reportedly acquired from bankrupt UK airline Eastern Airways and flown to Lusaka to be put into service. The fleet expansion is aimed to increase frequencies and add new routes across Zambia and into the wider Southern African region.
As ATCNews reported previously were the aircraft placed on the Zambian register and issued with a 9J registrations by Zambia Civil Aviation before departing the United Kingdom. They were each ferried over three days from the UK via Jersey, Djerba, and Entebbe to Lusaka
