REUNION TOURISM LAUNCHES NEW PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS FOR THEIR REGIONAL BOOKING PLATFORM

From August 23rd to August 29th were tourism professionals from La Réunion invited to take part in information meetings on the changes proposed by the regional reservation platform of the island of La Réunion Tourisme (IRT).
Four information meetings on the new commercial partnership agreement by territories have been scheduled by the IRT on the different territories:
- In the North on August 23 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Mercure Creolia Hotel in Saint-Denis;
- In the East on the afternoon of 23 August from 14:00 to 16:30 at the National Park headquarters at the Palmistes Plain;
- And in the South on the 24th of August last from 14h to 16h30 at the hotel Le Battant des Lames in Saint-Pierre;
- In the West on August 29 from 9 am to 11 am at the hotel Le Récif, l’Ermitage
Facilitated by the information and marketing director of the IRT Isabelle Nativel, these meetings allowed the participants to learn about the various changes in progress at the regional reservation platform. For Isabelle Nativel, the objective is to sign new partnerships and increase the number of members of IRT’s regional reservation platform.
IRT Regional Booking Platform Information Meeting
The last meeting which took place in the west today, on Tuesday 29th of August was combined with a conference on the client’s journey , led by the founder of Tourism ‘Development Karine Estaun with the program:
- 8h30: reception and breakfast.
- 9h: opening by the President of the IRT, Stéphane Fouassin
- 9.30: conference on "the customer journey: optimize its customer journey in order to develop its sales". Karine Estaun, founder of Tourism ‘Development, proposed a study of the customer’s journey: expectations and needs, different purchasing processes and changes in purchasing behavior.
- 11:00: the progress of the marketing projects (rates of pay and new entry conditions …).
At the end of these four meetings, nearly 150 tourism professionals from La Réunion responded to the invitation launched by the IRT.
