Rob Kucera brings extensive hospitality #leadership experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as General Manager and District Director for East Africa at Radisson Hotel Group, alongside his role as General Manager of Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre, Kigali.
During his career with Radisson, Rob held leadership positions in Nairobi, Kigali and Istanbul, building extensive expertise in hotel operations, multi-property management, business growth, and guest experience. His earlier career includes senior roles with Westin, Marriott, Mövenpick and Protea Hotels in South Africa, as well as serving as Chief Operations Officer at Hospitality Property Fund.
He has also contributed to the development of the hospitality industry in South Africa as Chairman of the FEDHASA Cape Board. His career has been recognised through several industry accolades, including the 2026 recognition among Africa’s Top 50 General Managers.
