RwandAir confirms Brussels station is now boarding passengers

BRUSSELS AT LAST THOUGH HURDLES REMAIN IN PLACE AS UK INSISTS ON TRANSIT VISA

(Posted 12th August 2017)

RwandAir earlier today confirmed that, at last, their Brussels service can now board passengers for the return flight to Kigali.
The routing however, via London Gatwick, still means that many passengers will require transit Visa even though their final destination is Rwanda, which makes life for many African travelers more difficult in view of the UK’s common practice to reject Visa applications.
Travel circles have criticized the UK demands for a transit Visa as an unnecessary hindrance for the RwandAir flights as it restricts passenger numbers for the airline, limited to those who can afford the extra cost and subject themselves to the often ridiculous process when applying for such Visa.
Meanwhile congrats to RwandAir for finally being able to fully launch their second European destination, Brussels, and happy landings at the European capital city.
