Save the Date: ICAO AI in Aviation Symposium 2027

Who is responsible when AI shapes aviation decisions? | Dubai, 01st to 03rd of February 2027

Artificial intelligence is increasingly supporting and performing functions across aviation. As these capabilities advance, important questions arise concerning responsibility, accountability, regulatory oversight and the role of human judgement in critical decisions.

To discuss these important issues, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), will convene the ICAO AI in Aviation Symposium 2027 – Aviation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI), generously hosted by the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), from 01st to 03rd of February 2027 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Under the theme Aviation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Data, Accountability, Safety Oversight and State Readiness, the Symposium will bring together policymakers, civil aviation authorities, industry leaders, technology providers, international organizations, academia and other stakeholders to examine the regulatory, legal and practical implications of AI in aviation.

Discussions will address data quality and validation, AI model reliability, digital dependencies, State oversight capabilities and regulatory interoperability, with particular attention to maintaining accountability as AI-supported functions extend beyond traditional aviation regulatory boundaries.

Sponsorship, Exhibition, and Skytalk Presentation Opportunities

Organizations seeking to demonstrate leadership and innovation in aviation are encouraged to explore sponsorship, exhibition, and Skytalk presentation opportunities. These platforms provide valuable visibility during the Symposium, enabling organizations to showcase their technologies, services, and best practices while engaging directly with decision-makers, policymakers, investors, and other key aviation stakeholders.
