We are pleased to invite you to ICAO Aviation Climate Week 2027, and the ICAO Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace (GSAM) 2027, taking place consecutively from 31 May to 4 June 2027, at ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, Canada.
Throughout the week, participants will engage in discussions and activities supporting ICAO’s Long-Term Global Aspirational Goal (LTAG) of net-zero carbon emissions in international aviation by 2050.
The events will also highlight the ICAO Finvest Hub, which connects SAF projects with investment and financing opportunities, as well as opportunities to engage with the ACT-SAF Programme and strengthen collaboration among its partners.
ICAO Aviation Climate Week
31 May to 2 June 2027
Under the theme, “Fuelling the Transition: Charting Real Progress Toward Net-Zero,” ICAO Aviation Climate Week will bring together States, industry stakeholders, international organizations, and financial institutions. The event will take stock of progress in reducing aviation’s environmental impact through technology, operations, airport infrastructure, climate resilience and adaptation, aviation cleaner energies, including Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and Lower Carbon Aviation Fuels (LCAF), and the implementation of CORSIA. Participants will share implementation experiences, address remaining challenges, and discuss priorities for policy, regulation, capacity-building and financing.
ICAO Global Sustainable Aviation Marketplace (GSAM)
3 to 4 June 2027
Centered on the theme “Mobilizing Capital, Accelerating Aviation Decarbonization,” ICAO GSAM will convene States, project sponsors, financiers, industry, and implementation partners in unique discussion and presentation forums to help advance aviation decarbonization projects and understand what it takes to mobilize financing. Participants will have the opportunity to explore investment opportunities, financing solutions, and partnerships to accelerate the deployment of SAF, LCAF, and other aviation cleaner energy initiatives, with dedicated support for developing countries and States having particular needs.
