Seychelles aviation news update – ‘HM’ appoints more Seychellois to senior positions

AIR SEYCHELLES APPOINTS ‘LOCAL’ AS HEAD OF CABIN OPERATIONS

The ongoing re-organization drive by Air Seychelles has yielded another promotion of a Seychellois citizen, when late last week Ms. Francisca Moonsammy was appointed as Head of Cabin Operations, now solely responsible for inflight cabin safety as well as inflight service.

Before returning ‘home’ she worked for several Canadian airlines in equally senior positions in between she had returned to the Seychelles for a 4 year spell between 2003 and 2007 during which she served ‘HM’ as a Crew Resource Manager overseeing training of cabin crews.

She was re-recruited by Air Seychelles earlier in 2011 after working for Air Canada since 2008, with the aim of introducing yet more citizens to senior positions at Air Seychelles as more and more expatriates are now retiring from the airline.

Congratulations to Francisca on her new appointments and Happy Landings to all her ‘charges’ flying ‘The Creole Spirit’.
