#Sheraton #Kampala appoints Jacqueline Nalubega as Acting Director of Sales

(Posted 02nd November 2018)

Following the rather sudden departure of Shamsa Ali, who had joined the Kampala Sheraton Hotel earlier in the year as Director of Sales, was Jacqueline Nalubega, until now Corporate Sales and PR Manager, elevated to the position as Acting Director of Sales.
Jacqueline is no stranger to the industry in Kampala and her taking charge of the hotel’s sales, marketing and PR team was promptly welcomed by a number of stakeholders in the tourism industry.
The focus of the Sheraton sales team in coming weeks will be to hardsell the festive season programme and related special offers and the hotel’s clientele in Kampala will be meeting Jacqueline in her new position when the Sheraton Kampala holds their traditional ‘Christmas comes early‘ cocktails on the 15th of November.
Meanwhile go the best wishes to Jacqueline from ATCNews.

In a related development was it also learned that a sample room is now ready at the sister hotel in Djibouti for approval by Starwood Hotels / Marriott. When signed off will the Djibouti and the Kampala Sheraton Hotels, both owned by Constellation Hotels and operated as a Sheraton franchise, see a progressive rollout of the new room standards.
Meanwhile has the Kampala Sheraton’s 7th floor seen the completion of the new bathrooms and the 6th floor of the hotel is due to be handed back by the contractor over the coming weeks, before bathroom refurbishment then moves to floors 5 and 4 of the hotel.
