Speed of essence now to register for the 10to4 Tropic Air Mountain Bike Challenge

(Posted 30th January 2022)

THERE’S STILL TIME TO REGISTER FOR THE 2022 10TO4 MOUNTAIN BIKE CHALLENGE! Shake off the lockdown blues by taking part in Mount Kenya Trust’s most important fundraising event … ON A BIKE
Experienced, casual, beginner, adrenaline junkie, old and young – with four different races to choose from, we have something for everyone. For more information on the types of races available, click here (or here for the Mini 10to4).

ON AN E-BIKE
If e-bikes are your thing, you can enjoy the CLASSIC or RUSH route with a little extra power behind you.  Register as normal and then drop us an email to let us know you’ll be competing on an e-bike.

AS A SPONSOR
Now more than ever we need your support! Last year Mount Kenya Trust went to the expense of organising not just one but three events, two of which had to be cancelled because of Government and Ministry of Health Covid regulations.  Obviously, this left a big hole in the bank balance and it’s difficult to see how it will ever be filled. So if you’ve enjoyed the 10to4 event in the past, will be coming along to support a friend or family member, or just have a big heart, please do consider becoming an official sponsor or making a donation, however small – every shilling helps!

Then here are a few things to consider:

STRAVA – whether you’re an old hand with Strava or a newbie user, join the 10to4 Mountain Bike Challenge Strava Club to access all the race routes and connect with other competitors to share your training journey.

BIKE DROP – if you would like to use the bike drop facility and have not already signed up, you MUST email 10to4@MountKenyaTrust.org with payment details and confirmation by the 4th February. More info on Bike Drop can be found here. After this date, no more bike drops will be accepted so please consider your transport plans now.

ACCOMMODATION – similarly, if you’d like to make the most of the opportunity to camp along the beautiful river at Borana Race Village during the 10to4 weekend but didn’t tick the box in the online registration form, please email 10to4@MountKenyaTrust.org before 4th February with payment details. There is a camping charge of KSh 1,500 per person (12yrs and over), regardless of the number of nights. Other accommodation options are also available, please click here for more details.

FUNDRAISING – Make your 10to4 entry count. Your extra sponsorship will help us go further faster so take a look at our Fundraising Page on how to make the most of your fundraising efforts and download your Sponsorship Form now.
NONE OF THIS WOULD BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF OUR AMAZING SPONSORS, HOSTS AND EVENT PARTNERS:
