Support Virunga this World Gorilla Day

(Posted 23rd September 2023)

On this World Gorilla Day, we shed light on the vulnerable eastern lowland gorilla population residing in Mount Tshiaberimu within the northern sector of the Park.

By adopting with Virunga, you help protect wild Eastern Gorillas and support Rangers, trackers, Gorilla Doctors, and the Park's dedication to preserving their natural habitat, including the Senkwekwe Centre gorilla orphanage.

As we approach World Gorilla Day on September 24th, explore our brand-new Virunga t-shirt and gorilla-themed products, available now on our merchandise store.
