Tanzania has launched comprehensive measures to combat wildlife intrusions in Meatu District, where growing conflicts between residents and elephants have raised safety concerns and threatened local communities. The government’s dual approach includes immediate tactical responses and long-term strategic solutions. The Tanzanian government has intensified efforts to address the escalating challenge of dangerous wildlife, primarily elephants, invading residential areas in Meatu District, Simiyu Region.
