Some people do more than build careers in tourism. They shape the industry, open doors for others, and leave a lasting mark on the destinations and communities they serve.
The Industry Icon honourees at the Africa Tourism Awards 2026 are:
Septi Bukula | Thomas Noll | GERHARD FRANKEN | Fatmata Mida Carew
We celebrate these distinguished industry figures for their contributions to the tourism sector and the role they play in advancing Africa’s tourism landscape.
Their recognition is a reminder that behind every thriving tourism destination is a community of people whose vision, commitment and leadership help move the industry forward.
Join us as we honour these industry icons at the Africa Tourism Awards 2026.
