NAIROBI SERENA HOTEL’S MAISHA SPA GAINS GLOBAL RECOGNITION

Serena Hotels, across its city hotels, beach resorts, safari lodges and tented camps has in recent years rolled out their own inhouse brand of a Spa, all known by the name of ‘Maisha’, a Kiswahili word meaning ‘Life’. The same exacting standards are used whether the Spa is located in a city hotel or the smallest of their luxurious safari camps.
The Maisha at the hotel group’s Kenyan flagship hotel, the Nairobi Serena, has now won top prize at the 2015 World Luxury Spa Award ceremony when it was named the Best Luxury Wellness Spa in Kenya after previously being a finalist on several occasions.
The win comes hot on the heels of a series of other trophies being handed to Serena Hotels during the current tourism and hospitality award season when their hotels in Nairobi, Kampala and Kigali were recognized for outstanding service levels and some of their lodges again singled out for location and their overall excellent standards.
The Spa’s at all Serena properties are open for inhouse guests which can use some of the services on a complimentary basis while regular treatments and massages are available at a fee.
