Three more US destinations in 2016 and double daily to New York?

QATAR AIRWAYS ANNOUNCES NEW US DESTINATIONS

Qatar Airways, presently serving Entebbe and Kigali combined with a daily flight, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam with double daily flights, daily services to Kilimanjaro International Airport and shortly commencing five flights a week to the Spice Island of Zanzibar, has good news to tell to their East African fan community. Come 2016 will the award winning airline launch daily flights to Los Angeles, effective 01st of January next year, using a two class Boeing B777 on the route. Come March 01st 2016 will New York be served twice a day, the additional service to be operated by the world’s latest state of the art passenger jet, the Airbus A350XWB and soon afterwards, on the 16th of March, will the airline then launch daily flights to Boston.

The airline will then make Atlanta their tenth US destination with daily flights being launched on the 01st of July next year, offering travelers from East Africa one of the most comprehensive US destination list to be reached with just one stop at their new Hamad International Airport in Doha.

The award winning 5star airline has seen rapid growth in just 18 years of operation to the point where today it is flying a modern fleet of 156 aircraft to 146 key business and leisure destinations. Among the 146 destinations currently served from Eastern Africa are Entebbe, Kigali, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and soon Zanzibar – all with excellent connections to and from these US cities. Notably has the airline 100 Boeing B777X on order and was global launch customer with an order of 80 Airbus A350XWB, the world’s most advanced passenger jet in operation today.
