The Botswana Ministry of Environment and Tourism has announced the reopening of the Gaborone Game Reserve, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, and the Khutse Game Reserve today, 11 March 2025. These popular wildlife destinations had been temporarily closed since 21 February 2025 due to heavy rains that rendered the areas inaccessible.
