The North West Parks Board (NWPB), the governmental organisation responsible for the management of protected areas and public nature reserves in South Africa’s North West Province, has announced the dates for this year’s “Park Mahala Week”. From 17 October 2021 until 24 October 2021 the NWPB is offering free access to 14 of its 15 Parks and Reserves (except for Madikwe Game Reserve). In order to be allowed free access, visitors will be required to present a valid ID or passport.
