Twin Otter crash in Ethiopia kills 18

NEWS ONLY EMERGING NOW OF AIR FORCE TWIN OTTER CRASH IN ETHIOPIA

Information is finally emerging from Ethiopia where on the 30th of August an Ethiopian Air Force DHC 6 Twin Otter crashed near the town of Mojo.
The aircraft was reportedly en route from Dire Dawa-Aba Tenna D Yilma Airport (DIR/HADR) to the Bishoftu-Harar Meda Air Base (HAHM),
The aircraft, registered as ET-AIU/808, MSN 822, dates back to 1985 when it first entered service before in 2012 joining the Ethiopian Air Force fleet.
A crew of 3 and 15 passengers on board all perished in the crash.
No additional information about weather conditions or a possible Mayday call prior to the crash are available at this time due to the secretive nature of the ongoing investigations.
