THE BIGGER VISION FOR LACROSSE IN AFRICA
In 2021 the African Association of Lacrosse (AAL) was founded to support the growth of the game across the face of Africa. The AAL was established as part of Lacrosse for All: Africa, an initiative started by World Lacrosse in early 2020 to rapidly develop lacrosse on the African continent. The AAL is working diligently to unify the game ensuring that all of the countries within Africa develop the game under the same principles and structures. While our immediate goal is to support the Ugandan Men’s Lacrosse team, the bigger vision for Lacrosse in Africa is rooted in creating a support network so that no matter which team wins the next qualifying games, they will be supported in their journey.
ATCNews expresses thanks to Mr. Brian M. Kwesiga for the support he is generating for the Ugandan team attending this event and his efforts so far managed to raise some US Dollars 10.292 as of last night.
