Uganda Airlines expands its African network with New direct flights to Accra and Kigali
The Ugandan national carrier will begin to operate flights from Entebbe to Accra starting the 27th of October 2026, with initially four flights a week. The route will see the CRJ900 deployed, an aircraft type also operated by RwandAir. The Rwandan airline has enjoyed a monopoly on the Entebbe route and will for the first time face competition which will no doubt bring ticket prices down as travelers will have a choice.
Also coming up are flights from Entebbe to Kigali starting on the 18th of November 2026 with initially one daily flight. The route will be served with a wet leased B737-800.
