According to a letter seen from the Minister of Internal Affairs, National Citizenship and Immigration Control, is it now no longer necessary for visitors to Uganda to carry a Yellow Fever Certificate.
The late receipt of the letter copy appears to be a sign of a flawed distribution system and apologies are offered to readers of www.ATCNews.org for having to wait a bit longer to get the information
The validity of such certificates was according to details seen at the WHO website extended from the previous 10 years to life long validity and may be needed to enter other countries – but thankfully no longer to visit Uganda.
Notably though does the Seychelles, for travelers from Africa arriving on Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines, continue to demand such a certificate on arrival, even though passengers may only have transited in Nairobi or Addis Ababa.
