#Uganda lifts C19 checks for inbound travelers at Entebbe but outbound passengers remain under orders

Information became available earlier today that the Ugandan Ministry of Health has written to the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, directing them to abolish health checks for Covid19 documents such as vaccination certificates or PCR tests for arriving passengers.

However, departing passengers from Uganda continue to require either a valid vaccination certificate or else a PCR test in order to check in and board their flight.

Travelers to Uganda will no doubt breath a sigh of relief though it is recommended to check with the respective airlines what requirements they still have in place, and comply with those or risk being denied check in and boarding.
