United Airlines has expanded its MileagePlus Miles Pooling feature to now include 40+ partner airlines – including Airlink, SAA, Ethiopian Airlines and EgyptAir in Africa along with numerous others (full list below) – making it easier for families and friends to combine their miles and book future travel together.
MileagePlus members have long been able to redeem miles on partner airlines, and with expanded Miles Pooling they can now combine miles with family and friends to redeem across partner carriers – unlocking even more global destinations to explore. Until recently, pooled miles could only be redeemed for travel on United- and United Express-operated flights.
