Financing of Tourism for Development: a holistic approach needed The need to have an holistic approach to financing of tourism for development was one of the key conclusions of the event held on the topic on the sidelines of the 21st UNWTO General Assembly. Read more >> Thailand: We are back to normal In a press conference held Tuesday, the Minister of Tourism of Thailand, Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, briefed attending media on the measures taken and the rapid recovery of tourism in Thailand after the attack in central Bangkok last month and praised UNWTO and the international tourism community for their strong support. During the conference, UNWTO Secretary-General, Taleb Rifai, reiterated his confidence in Thailand as a safe destination.
