State House in Victoria has confirmed the appointment of Vesna Raki? as new Chief Executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board, with immediate effect.
The restoration of the Seychelles Tourism Board had earlier in the year approved by the National Assembly, marking a significant step in reestablishing the body which had been allowed to lapse under the previous administration.
Vesna is a graduate in Business Administration and Marketing from the London South Bank University and she has over 30 years of experience in the tourism sector in the Seychelles.
Throughout her career she held various positions in the fields of tourism marketing, product development and tourism sector development. Notably, she has worked as a director and senior consultant at Sales & Marketing Seychelles Pty Ltd, as well as head of sales and marketing at Book Seychelles, Travel Services Seychelles, Creole Holidays and Cat Cocos, the main ferry company between the islands of Mahe and Praslin.
Vesna is also a founding member of the Seychelles Small Hotels & Establishments Association.
