#VirungaNationalPark – Latest updates on the park’s recent projects

The Park recently launched its lion collaring program to enhance it’s efforts to monitor and protect the vulnerable population of lions located in the Ishasha Valley.?

SICOVIR (Virunga Industrial and Commercial Company) has launched a solidarity campaign dedicated to empowering women residing in displaced persons camps in Beni.

In response to the food security crisis that emerged from the conflict in Ukraine, the Lubero district, situated within Virunga National Park, has successfully completed its first wheat harvest in twenty-five years.
