Research conducted by the Africa Travel and Tourism Association has found out which countries are on the most wanted list of visitors coming to Sub Saharan Africa.
The leading five countries are South Africa with 24 percent. Kenya with 21 percent. Tanzania with 19 percent, Botswana with 12 percent and Seychelles with 4 percent.
Congo DR and Mozambique feature with 1 percent each respectively.
Other yet more distant contenders are Zambia with 3 percent, Zimbabwe with 3 percent, Namibia with also 3 percent, Uganda with 2 percent – the same number as Mauritius and Madagascar.
No such information was available for the North African countries of Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco nor were details included for the West African tourism countries like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Gambia or Nigeria.
