SA Tourism releases performance report for 20/21
South Africa’s National Tourism Agency, South African Tourism (SA Tourism) earlier this week presented its 2020/21 performance report to the Portfolio Committee on Tourism. The organisation achieved 82% of the targets set out in its Annual Performance Plan despite massive budget cuts due to the pandemic. In her comments to the Portfolio Committee, the Interim Chairperson of the Board, Advocate Mojankunyane Gumbi, acknowledged some shortfalls in performance during the year, in particular those highlighted in the latest Auditor General Report. Vic Falls Carnival Springs Back to Life Next Year
Award winning soul singer Gemma Griffiths and Nutty O will headline next year’s edition of the Victoria Falls Carnival scheduled for April.The carnival returns next year for its 10th edition, with organisers moving it from December to April 2022.The event will have headline performances like South African based Zimbabwean artiste Sha Sha, Dj Maphorisa, Master KG, Scorpion King, Kabza De Small and many Sub-Saharan African artistes.
