World Luxury Hotel Awards set to hand Kampala’s Mestil Hotel three prizes

MESTIL HOTEL IN KAMPALA TIPPED TO BAG THREE AWARDS IN UPCOMING CEREMONY IN FINLAND

(Posted 20th September 2019)

Information seen suggests that during the next World Luxury Hotel Award Gala, to be held at the Arctic Circle Hotel, Rovaniemi, Finland on the 12th of October this year, Kampala’s Mestil Hotel and Residences will collect three awards, though the specific categories are yet to be confirmed.
The five star property in Nsambya / Kampala recently opened a new expanded conference facility next to the main hotel, tapping into the growing meeting market in Kampala and the owners are reportedly considering to also expand accommodation facilities.

The hotel, now managed by Mr. Chris Pollard, formerly GM of the Kampala Sheraton Hotel before he went into private consulting practice in South Africa, has been enjoying sharply upped occupancies for its standard rooms, one, two and three bedroom apartments which are particularly suitable for guests staying longer than just a few days.
A fully equipped kitchenette, dining and sitting room add to the comfort levels of guests when staying in the apartments, yet being a full service hotel are guests looked after just like in other five star hotels.
ATCNews will report the award categories when the gala night unfolds on the 12th of October.
