Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS)

This course guides participants through the evolution of the OLS concept to obstacle evaluation and control using an aeronautical study. It provides participants with the competencies required to apply the updated OLS provisions outlined in Annex 14 — Aerodromes, Volume I, and PANS-Aerodromes (Doc 9981). It is designed for regulators, aerodrome operators, flight procedure designers, town planners, aircraft operators, and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs).
