Zambia Tourism gets a new Board of Directors

Government has officially unveiled the new Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) Board of Directors, ushering in a strong blend of experience and fresh energy to steer the country’s tourism agenda forward.
The Minister of Tourism, Hon. Rodney Sikumba, has urged the newly appointed Board to embrace a strategic, innovative, and results-driven approach in executing its mandate, with a particular emphasis on marketing Zambia both regionally and internationally, as well as effectively regulating the tourism industry.
Mr. Sikumba further directed the Board to intensify efforts in global destination marketing, digital campaigns, brand positioning, and media partnerships to significantly raise Zambia’s visibility on the world stage.
Zambia possesses immense tourism potential, and it is imperative that this Board works collaboratively and strategically to position our country as a destination of choice. Your leadership will be key in unlocking opportunities, attracting investment, and driving growth in the sector,” he said.
The newly appointed Board is comprised of a diverse and highly qualified team of professionals, bringing a wealth of expertise to the governance of the Agency. The Board will be chaired by Ms. Keira L. Johnson, with members including Dr. Japhet Lishomwa, Dr. Andrew Chilufya, Dr. Lucy Nyundo, Mr. Brian Chazya Musukuma, Ms. Anne K. Sibanda, Mr. Hillary Mwansa, Mr. Grant Gatchell, and Mr. George Kaumba
