Greyhound SouthAfrica and Intercape SouthAfrica have both suspended their bus services to and from Zimbabwe due to the current wave of unrest in the country. This follows the decision by Fastjet a few days ago to also suspend flight operations as the airline could not guarantee the safety of their staff going to and coming from the airport.
The measure of the bus companies came into effect yesterday, 15th of January and remains in place for today too, 16th of January.
No information is available when the services will resume.
At the same time it was learned that Malawi too is affected by the suspension of bus services.
