RwandAir introduces dual class turboprop into the East African skies

RWANDAIR’S NEW BOMBARDIER Q400 CABIN NOW COMPLETE

The countdown is now truly on as RwandAir is expecting their newest bird, a Bombardier Q400 to arrive in Kigali on the 03rd of March. Latest pictures obtained show the aircraft interior now completely outfitted in the dual class cabin, offering both business and economy classes on board. The arrival of the new aircraft further reduces the age of RwandAir’s fleet, as two Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen aircraft are now just over one year old, while the two B737-800NG are two years old. Two more recently acquired B737-700NG’s, acquired from TUI Fly, are said to be 5 and 6 years old respectively.

The new Q400’s arrival will offer added seat capacity and also expand the range of destinations served by this aircraft type as the presently used Bombardier Dash8-200 is returned to the lessor ALS in Nairobi. Expect live reports from Kigali on the 03rd of March, when RwandAir, and in fact the whole country, will celebrate this latest accomplishment of their national airline.
