Dear Friends,

As we reflect on another year, we are filled with gratitude.

Your steadfast support for our work across Africa has been inspiring. Thanks to you, we have continued to make strides in protecting Africa’s increasingly precious wild areas and in supporting the local communities that live within and around them. This year, with your support, we have been able to:

  • Reintroduce species, including African wild dogs, to Majete and Liwonde in Malawi, and Liuwa in Zambia, helping to restore ecosystem balance and protect an endangered species.
  • Keep poaching levels at an all-time low, resulting in the increase of key wildlife populations. Our 1,064 Rangers conducted over 66,000 field days, removing 36,000 snares, and laying the foundation for safe landscapes and healthy ecosystems.
  • Create over 3,200 full time and thousands of part-time jobs in surrounding communities. We built and supported 105 schools providing education to thousands of children, and supported 100 hospitals and mobile health clinics, delivering healthcare to 110,000 people across the continent.

When you support African Parks, you are helping us protect the largest amount of area under conservation management by any one NGO on the continent. The 19 parks in 11 countries under our management are not just strongholds for countless wildlife, they also directly support more than 2.5 million people who depend on the safety, the jobs and the ecosystem services these parks provide. And none of this would be possible without you.

From all of us at African Parks, we extend our most sincere thanks during this giving season, for helping us protect nature now, and for investing in our global future.

Your friends at African Parks
