Air Kenya yesterday confirmed that three previously unserviceable airfields are now back in operation after the wave of torrential rains has, for the moment at least, passed.
According to information received will the following airfields and air strips be served again by scheduled flights with immediate effect:
Nanyuki Civil Airstrip – Nanyuki
Kamok Airstrip – Ol Pejeta, Nanyuki
Olare Mara Airstrip, Masai Mara
Passengers previously confirmed into other airstrips are advised to contact their respective airlines to revert to their destination of choice and also liaise with their lodges / safari camps to coordinate pick up and drop off services.
