Nantwich Lodge

About Nantwich Lodge

It encourages presence and curiosity, calling travellers to engage, immerse and interact with their environment.

Nantwich Lodge… a mere 104 km from Victoria Falls, with a short road transfer that should take about 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on the variety of game encountered on your way.

Perched up on a bluff overlooking a large dam with resident crocodile and hippo, the game lodge boasts some of the best game viewing in the area. Each room has been lovingly recreated in an eco-friendly way, adding a refreshing modern touch and a new purpose.

All nine rooms sleep two guests with four of them having interleading doors allowing for families or friends to share yet still have privacy. Guests are escorted between the areas on a golf cart so their comfort and safety are well taken care of.

About Elephant’s Eye Tented Camp

One of the most sublime safari camps in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

A short 20-minute flight from Victoria Falls or a 3 hour and 30 minutes road transfer brings you to Elephant’s Eye. Our camp is located on a private concession that shares a fenceless border with Hwange National Park. This enables us to combine the thrill of visiting Zimbabwe’s largest national park with the added benefit of exclusive night-time game drives and guided safari walks in a private conservancy.

The beauty of our eight private tented chalets is that they have been designed to almost completely blend into their natural environment whilst still offering uninterrupted panoramic views of the watering hole below and the surrounding African bush.

Each chalet, screened by indigenous trees for exclusive privacy, includes a spacious bedroom, fireplace, outdoor shower, wrap-around viewing deck and an en-suite bathroom. The comfortable interiors are contemporary with an African touch striking the perfect balance between luxury and functionality.

When to Travel

The best time to visit Hwange National Park is from April to November

Aim for the cooler, dry season between July and October for an optimum safari experience as waterholes attract a great variety of animals and the bush thins out well to ensure great wildlife viewing. For those with a special interest in birds, the best time to visit Hwange is between April and November when the wet summer months attract a host of migratory species.
