Another crash in Congo rocks the aviation fraternity

LET 410 CARGO FLIGHT CRASH KILLS CREW OF THREE

A LET410, registered as 9S-GRJ – MSN 872006, crashed during the initial climb out of Bukavu-Kavumu airport (BKY / FZMA) while performing a flight to Shabunda (FZMW) some 105 miles to the west. The aircraft performed its first flight in 1987.
On board was cargo of about 1.6 tons but apart from the crew of three no passengers.
The operator of the aircraft was given as Kin Avia, a carrier on the EU blacklist.
No further details are presently available about the crash and its circumstances.
