Brussels Airlines announces more flights to Mumbai

MUMBAI FLIGHTS SET TO INCREASE TO SIX A WEEK AS BRUSSELS AIRLINES INCREASES MARKET SHARE

(Posted 08th August 2017)

From the 29th of October will Brussels Airlines add a sixth weekly flight to their Mumbai route, leaving Brussels on a Saturday, only half a year after initially launching the service in March.
High loadfactors for passengers and cargo are seen as the main factor for this move and reportedly over 37.000 passengers have traveled on Brussels Airlines flights between Mumbai and Brussels over the past few months.
To launch the flights did the airline add a 10th Airbus A330 to their fleet bringing the overall count to 51.
From late next year will Brussels Airlines begin to exchange their A330 fleet as leases come to an end and the new aircraft, also A330’s, will then feature a completely new cabin interior with speculations rife over the new layout of the airline’s business and economy privilege classes.
In East Africa does Brussels Airlines connect the European capital five times a week with Entebbe / Uganda while also serving Kigali / Rwanda and Bujumbura / Burundi with six and one flights respectively.
