Brussels Airlines, serving Moscow’s Domodedevo Airport since 2004, has confirmed that they will switch to Sheremetyevo as of 02nd of June this year.
The Belgian national airline presently operates four flights a week to Moscow while Aeroflot flies three times a day between Sheremetyevo and Brussels.
The move will see Brussels Airlines as the only member of the Lufthansa Group to fly to Sheremetyevo while Lufthansa itself, but also Swiss and Austrian, for now continue to fly to Domodedevo.
Brussels Airlines flies daily between Entebbe / Uganda to the European capital with six of the southbound services routing via Kigali while the remaining service routes via Bujumbura / Burundi.
The flights are operated with Airbus A330 aircraft offering passengers the choice between the airline’s award winning business class, Economy Privilege and Economy classes.
