BAD WEATHER MAKES SEARCH DIFFICULT

Search efforts for the missing FlySax Cessna C208B Grand Caravan were made difficult during the day by bad weather.
The first two search helicopters deployed after sunrise in the morning even had to suspend their search again due to adverse weather conditions.
Once the weather had partially cleared were a further three helicopters deployed to find the wreckage of the plane together with teams on the ground.
As of 4 pm this afternoon, the plane, its passengers and crew have not been found as per a statement released by the airline.
The aerial search is continuing until sunset and will then be halted until first light tomorrow again.
Ground teams will continue to search the area where the plane is suspected to have come down.
