LAMU TOURISM ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR A MAJOR FOOD FESTIVAL OVER EASTER HOLIDAYS

News are emerging from the Kenyan archipelago of Lamu, that the town’s tourism stakeholders are planning to launch a food festival over the upcoming Easter holidays. Already renown for the ancient town’s other festivals, the Lamu Cultural Festival, the Maulidi Festival, the Lamu Painters’ Festival and the Lamu Yoga Festival will the new addition to the calendar of events only add to the appeal for travel to see Lamu.
Connected with daily scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport by Safarilink and other airlines is access easy and a range of resorts and hotels, ranked from 5star to very simple places makes a visit to Lamu affordable for all pockets.
