Travelers from East Africa’s Emirates destinations of Entebbe, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam have reason to smile as Dubai’s award winning airline upped their second daily flight to Los Angeles from a Boeing B777 to an Airbus A380.
Anyone traveling to LA or the West Coast of America, Emirates now has a one stop service from East Africa, all the way in wide body aircraft and from Dubai to LA on the world’s biggest passenger aircraft. There is no lesser comfort on board from any of the East Africa destinations because Emirates only uses wide body jets. It is not just a question of catering on board, it is very much a question of space on board and wide body aircraft simply give more space than single aisle planes, that is plain and simple‘ commented a source close to the airline here in Kampala when passing the news about the new service. He then added that Vienna too was now served by the Airbus A380 of which Emirates now operates 80 aircraft, the largest fleet in the world and serves the most destinations with this aircraft type, a clear bonus for passengers transiting in Dubai for their final destination.
