Entebbe to Mwanza will cost 170 US Dollars

AURIC AIR ANNOUNCES FARE FOR ENTEBBE TO MWANZA FLIGHTS

(Posted 19th August 2014)

Travelers from Entebbe to Mwanza and vice versa will have to pay US Dollars 170 per sector, all taxes included, when Auric Air launches their first international route on the 01st of September. The new route will introduce the presently fastest way to travel between Tanzania’s lake side city and Entebbe, Uganda’s main international gateway, and will no doubt enhance trade and tourism opportunities.

Many visitors to Uganda, who after tracking gorillas would like to add a safari to Tanzania’s northern safari circuits, starting with the Serengeti, until now have to go the cumbersome and timewasting route via Nairobi and finally have the option to fly to Mwanza, clear customs and immigration there and then drive but three hours to reach the Western part of the Serengeti and begin their safari by exploring the Grumeti Sector of the national park. Mwanza itself is also worth exploring of course and a number of hotels in the city as well as on the lake shores offer a range of accommodation facilities to suit all pockets. Excursions to see the famous Bismarck Rocks or explore nearby tourism attractions are available from Mwanza based tour and travel companies.

Alternatively can charters be arranged from Mwanza to any of the Serengeti airstrips as well as to other national parks while onward flights with Auric into their 20+ destination network across Tanzania’s mainland and Indian Ocean islands are available too. The intermediate sector, the flight routing from and to Mwanza also touches down in Bukoba, will be on sale from either direction for 125 US Dollars, one way and inclusive of taxes.
