#EthiopianAirlines drops Mbuji-Mayi in Congo

KISANGANI NOW CONNECTED TO ADDIS ABABA VIA GOMA

Information has come to light that Ethiopian Airlines, citing poor uptake of the route to Mbuji-Mayi, has dropped the destination.
Flights were launched a year ago combined with Kisangani.
The airline now offers a twice a week service from Addis Ababa, linking Kisangani with Goma, also in Eastern Congo, using a Boeing B737-800 on the route.
Ethiopian reportedly has no traffic rights between Kisangani and Goma leaving travelers between the two cities at the mercy of Congolese carriers.
