Fastjet Zimbabwe earlier today confirmed that Flight FN8339, a scheduled flight from Harare to Johannesburg returned to Harare shortly after departing due to a member of the flight crew becoming unwell.
The airline stated that the safety of the flight, passengers and crew was not compromised. All passengers onboard were deplaned on arrival, whilst the carrier activated the required medical assistance for the unwell flight crew member.
Fastjet apologised to their customers affected by the subsequent changes implemented to recover the remaining flight schedule for the day.
