ROTATING PRESIDENCY OF #VANILLAISLANDS NOW HELD BY MAYOTTE

The new President of the Vanilla Island organization, Mr. Soibahadine Ibrahim Ramadani said “I wish to consolidate our assets and reinforce the association with the contribution of Mayotte. The cruise sector will be our priority. We must speed up the actions to better adapt ourselves to the arrival of cruise ships, improve the professionalization and coordination of the tools between the islands‘ when he took over for his one year term of office. The French region in the Indian Ocean is leading the organization for the first time ever.
The Vanilla Islands, a concept developed by former Seychelles Minister for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Mr. Alain St. Ange, comprises Seychelles, Mayotte, Madagascar, Mauritius and Rodrigues and Reunion, the latter also a French region in this part of the world.
The marketing cooperative has seen much success over the years in cooperating vis a vis marketing cruise ship calls, joint sales and marketing missions and supporting increased air connectivity among these islands.
