HILTON’S MIKE COLLINI ATTENDS AVIADEV2018 IN CAPE TOWN TO EXPLORE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

(Posted 18th June 2018)

(Jon Howell of AviaDev and Mike Collini discussing hotel opportunities at the
sidelines of AviaDev2018 in Cape Town last week)

It takes an enlightened hotel man or woman to understand the linkages between aviation and the hospitality industry and internalize what the opportunities working hand in hand avail to both sides, airport operators of course included.
Mike Collini, Vice President Development in Sub Saharan Africa for Hilton Hotels clearly is one such individual as he attended one of the continent’s primary aviation development summits in Cape Town last week.
Seeking opportunities by understanding where airlines next want to fly to will Mike have taken home valuable intelligence when looking at where to develop the next Hilton branded hotel, be it a mainstream Hilton, a Double Tree by Hilton or a Hilton Garden Inn.
Mike spoke in length with Jon Howell of AviaDev – also with this correspondent – and the podcast version of the interview has just been released by Jon, giving ATCNews.org readers unprecedented insight of where Hilton in Africa will move to in coming years.
