Kampala’s connoisseurs set to meet at Sheraton gardens for feast

KAMPALA’S SECOND CONNOISSEUR’S FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE SHERATON GARDENS

(Posted 20th February 2014)

Good food, drink and classical music presentations will be at the centre of activities on Sunday, 02nd of March, when the Sheraton Kampala Hotel hosts the second edition of the Kampala Connoisseur Festival in the hotel’s extensive gardens. The success of the inaugural event last year, reported here of course, left many of Kampala’s socialites keenly looking forward to the 2014 event and all indications are that the expectations raised last year may even be exceeded as more features have been added.

Starting at noon and running up to 6 p.m. the cost of entry for adults has been set at 25.000 Uganda Shillings or approximately 10 US Dollars while the entrance fee for children is 10.000 UShs or the equivalent about of 4 US Dollars. The fee includes free ice cream for children and a free wine tasting glass for adults, which can be used to sample a variety of wines presented by one of the event sponsors No. 49 Cheese and Wine. See you, and Kampala’s Who is Who, at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
