Kenya’s Holiday Expo at Sarit Centre opens tomorrow

HUGE TURNOUT EXPECTED FOR THE 2016 EDITION OF KENYA’S HOLIDAY EXPO

(Posted 01st March 2016)

As the traditional low season in Kenya draws nearer will fans of #TembeaKenya – the tag line of the Kenya Tourism Board to promote domestic travel – no doubt look forward to the opening of this year’s edition of the Sarit Centre based Holiday Expo.
Bargain hunters can expect a bonanza of excellent offers from the Kenya coast spanning from Malindi over Watamu to Kilifi, from Shanzu to Nyali and on to the south coast based resorts. However, travel to the national parks and game reserves have seen Kenyans in ever rising numbers take to the road, or the air, to enjoy a safari and the luxury of some of the world’s best tented camps and lodges.

Local airlines like Safarilink and Air Kenya have indicated that they will offer special fares at the Sarit Holiday Expo for Kenyans wanting to fly rather than drive to their destination, of course a perfect way to start a safari or reach a coastal destination, be it Lamu, Malindi, Vipingo or Diani.

All leading hotel companies are expected to exhibit at the Sarit Holiday Expo, trying to tap into the domestic, and in part even regional market with special offers for Kenyans, expatriates and East Africans for the period of 01st of April until the 30th of June – in some cases up to the 15th of July.

Those looking for value for money, and for bargains of course, will not be disappointed going by the results of past exhibitions.
