Flight PW 406 operates every Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday, though depending on loadfactors are additional flights already on the drawing board. The route is operated by an ATR 42 aircraft and makes it the airline’s 11th destination, nine of which are on the domestic network such as Zanzibar, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza, Bukoba, Tabora, Kigoma and Tanzania’s ‘gas capital’ Mtwara. The only regional destination served remains Kenya’s capital Nairobi. Precision Air operates a fleet of mixed ATR 42 and 72 turboprop aircraft, all acquired directly from the manufacturer.
