HERSI LED SUN AFRICA HOTELS DELIVER ANOTHER PROMISE AT THEIR NEW NYALI PROPERTY
(Posted 30th December 2017)
Opening today at the Nyali Sun Africa Hotel & Spa is the hotel’s night club named ‘Noons‘ which had been closed for many moons.
Since Sun Africa Hotels took over the Nyali in September this year has this old time favourite beach hotel seen a change in its fortunes after suffering decline under the former management for years.
Good to Mohammed Hersi’s words to this correspondent during an interview in October has Sun Africa’s team at the Nyali delivered key components in time for the festive season.
A kids club has opened its doors for the younger guests, giving their parents much needed time for R&R hours of their own and as of today will the hotel’s inhouse night club reopen, with a lady’s night every Wednesday and also open on the busy nights out, Friday and Saturday until the wee hours of the morning.
In an earlier article was mention made that the hotel’s TripAdvisor ranking had risen – at the time of this correspondent’s visit – to 22 but has since climbed further to number 8 out of over 60 Mombasa hotels and resorts.
89 percent of the ratings given by guests who stayed at the resort since it was taken over by Sun Africa Hotels, have given the Nyali an Excellent or Very Good approval rank, a sign what committed management can accomplish in a matter of just a few months.
No doubt will the New Year 2018 see another rise in good fortunes for this iconic beach hotel, the oldest in Mombasa which under their management team led by Hilary Siele injected not only a new lease of life but brought a winning formula back to the Kenyan coast’s hospitality scene.
